A thematic itinerary that starts from the entrance to San Pietro in Vincoli and develops on three levels and climbs up to Rocco, the panoramic giant Owl.
A portal introduces the visitor into the magical world of the fairy tale that is presented to the visitor in a book supported by a rough hand of rock with three fingers, a first clue that suggests the invitation to imagination.
Different creatures will appear along the way, some inspired by native floral species and all created in synergy between the artists of the “Borgo” and the artisans of Bienno, the works decline the main materials of the territory wood, stone and iron.
Quercus, the wise and powerful protective spirit of the Wood, stands on a ledge, supported by a tree.
N.B. The installations of the thematic itinerary have an exclusively decorative function, therefore interactions with the public are NOT envisaged, consequently the organizing body does not assume responsibility for damage caused to things or people resulting from incorrect visitor behavior.
The "Bosco di Quercus" and "Rocco, the Giant Owl" are the projects of Daniela Gambolò & Alberto Dalla Valle Art (Borgo degli Artisti Bienno), created thanks to the collaboration with the Municipality of Bienno, the Bienno Tourism Office, the CAI of Bienno and the Valcamonica MTB Association.
