Cowbell Museum

The forge, founded in the early 1900s, still almost perfectly preserves its internal furnishing accessories and various work tools.

Three different hammers, an anvil and the forge for iron modeling were mainly used for the production of horseshoes and tools related to the activity of farriery.

Owned by the Sillistrini family from Bienno, which has always been family-run from father to son, the hammers of the historic forge stopped beating in the early 2000s.

Now used as a Museum of the cowbell, managed by our Claudio Ercoli, blacksmith, member of the Borgo degli Artisti in Bienno, it can be freely visited.

Entering inside you will be transported back in time and you will be able to witness the working phases of the iron.
