Art Nouveau Fountain at the Playground - Series of Rectangular Back-to-Back Fountains with a Backdrop (“RAF”)

In the Art Nouveau style, this fountain was constructed of terrazzo in the early 20th century and is located within the urban expansion area. It consists of a linear base with a rounded basin featuring a curved rim. The back panel is framed on the sides by two opposing volutes and in the center by a zoomorphic head from which the spout emerges. Also worth noting are fountains with rectangular basins located in courtyards, such as the 16th-century fountain at Casa Bettoni (formerly Morandini) and the neoclassical fountain at Palazzo Simoni Fè, both of which belong to the same RAF typology.
