Not far from the Fucina Museo are the Fucina Ludoteca—housed in the former Fucina Comensoli, which serves as an educational center for children—and the Forging School, located in the former Fucina Franzoni.

Today, there is a well-known and active blacksmiths’ association, “Fréar dè Bién,” and the hammers are still used for live demonstrations of fascinating techniques that have now been inexorably lost in the rapid passage of time.

The museum is part of the Vaso Rè and Valle dei Magli Ecomuseum trail

Open to the public during exhibitions, events, and courses, or by reservation at the Bienno Tourist Office.
