PROGRAM

 

MORNING:

h. 09.30 - Visit to the Forge museum to attend the demonstration of forging and working of iron with the water hammer;

Guided tour of the 1400 mill museum and the adjoining housing structure, a true ethnographic museum.

 

LUNCH:

Possibility to have a packed lunch at the municipal playground (only in summer);

 

AFTERNOON:

h. 13.30 - Visit to the naturalistic didactic area to discover the animal and plant species typical of our territory and beyond.

Visit to the Razèga, the Prestine sawmill probably of medieval origins is today the last remaining on the entire territory of the Eco Museum and the valley of the hammers.
At one time this sawmill operated by the force of the water captured by the "Valle delle Valli" stream, which runs alongside the sawmill destroyed by the flood of 1634 and immediately rebuilt in 1777, today belongs to the "Ancient Originals Society" of Prestine.
