Bienno featured in the international press: the German magazine Motorrad tells the story of our village

Bienno is back in the international spotlight thanks to the German magazine Motorrad, one of Europe's most authoritative publications dedicated to the world of motorcycling, with over 100,000 readers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In the issue published on 1 July 2025, the village of Bienno is chosen as the final stop on a fascinating motorcycle tour through the Val Camonica. Journalists describe it as a place “straight out of a fairy tale”, capable of enchanting visitors with its perfectly preserved medieval structure, stone alleys, artisan workshops and its deep connection with the art and tradition of ironworking.

“Bienno is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy,” writes Motorrad, 'but this definition seems almost reductive.

The report also highlights the Museo della Fucina (Forge Museum), a living memory of centuries-old ironworking, and the 15th-century mill, still in working order and open to visitors, a symbol of a community that has preserved its history with passion and intelligence.

Bienno thus confirms itself as an ideal destination for authentic, cultural and sustainable tourism, capable of attracting visitors not only from Italy but also from Central Europe, who are increasingly seeking experiences outside the major tourist circuits.
