To highlight the heritage sites it manages, the FAI has chosen storytelling as its medium. Through ongoing research, stories—both big and small—emerge from these places, and the FAI shares them with the public right there on site in original and evocative “narrative settings.” Daniela Bruno, FAI’s Cultural Director, researches and writes these stories; Lella Costa, an actress, has read them for the FAI, giving voice and soul to these places and their stories. They will present two sites and two stories as examples of this collaboration: Casa Macchi in Morazzone (VA) and Casa Noha in Matera. Through excerpts from the stories written by one and read by the other, these two stories will be retraced through images, introducing the public to two unique and exceptional sites that are preserved, promoted, and managed by the FAI.
