One look, two professions, two works of video art On Tuesday, August 19th, at 8:30 pm, at the Teatro Simoni Fe in Bienno, the Bienno Borgo Artisti 2.0 association presents a free evening (subject to availability) with the screening of two experimental documentaries by artist Pietro Gardoni. "Histela," dedicated to the Bienno basket maker Lucio Avanzini, metaphorically returns home after presentations in Pontremoli, Paris, and Milan. The soundtrack is by Robert Rich and Luca Formentini. "San Mai" is a world premiere: a portrait of the blacksmith and knife maker Claudio "Mondo" Ercoli, accompanied by an original soundtrack by Milanese sound artist Eathan. The two works, while approaching documentary language, forcefully assert the breadth and freedom of video art: images, sounds, and gestures that become narrative. Edited by Cinzia Bontempi
