The work was realized during the XXIX ^ edition of the Bienno Exhibition in August 2019 by Bair Kirill, Nazarov Sergei and Gnennyy Andrey, sculptors from Russia.

The four-meter-by-three sculpture made entirely of wood represents the face of an elderly person with a beard and hat intent on smoking a pipe lying on the watercourse that observes from a distance the life of his Borgo flowing slowly like the waters of the Vase Rè .

The sculpture is placed at the Parada right next to the Vase Rè, to make it a worthy tribute and depict that strong bond that unites this canal and the people of Bienno.
