THE INVENTION OF RECLAMATION AND DEVELOPMENT (TODAY)

The beginning of this route introduces to the diachronic narration: on the triangular outer space in front of the Museum two silouettes engraved on large plates of cor-ten steel “overlapp each other frenetically”: in the first one there is the profile of an old Camonica Valley ancestor, portrayed in a famous rocky engraving and known as “the runner”; in the second one, which is the work of a contemporary artist from Bienno, Carluccio Bettoni, made up of ironworking remainings, wastage products of the only forge that today is still active.
