Dotto Devis - Blacksmith and Historical Reconstruction

Devis Dotto was born in Vicenza on March 6, 1976, and is one of the artists of our village who is most closely related to the iron tradition, as can be done by his work. Below is a very detailed statement provided by Devis himself about his passion.

"I begin my experience in metal knowledge thanks to the passion for historical recollections, from there the short step is where from self-taught I begin to rebuild the gadgets for my equipment from a Venetian medieval soldier of the late 15th century. On July 1, 2013, I started my experience in the Village of Artists in Bienno, guaranteeing the opening of the Iron Museum as a volunteer, and where I still regularly carry out the Custody / Guide 12 months a year. The extraordinary museum activity leads me to continue my personal study of the historical reconstructions of Medieval and Renaissance Arms and Armor and in maintaining the tradition of forging the buckets & pans belonging to the Bienno Locksmith Association (Padelér).

Devis is part of the "Borgo degli Artisti" since July 1, 2013.
